Civil Manager

Alex joined Latham Construction in late 2018 to manage the Beachlands Metlifecare project from pricing through resourcing and delivery.Alex is a NZCE qualified civil engineer with over 30 years’ experience.

Alex starting as a civil engineering cadet at Neil Construction working on many Auckland land development projects in the surveying and design area. He then advanced to being a design draftsman for a couple of Auckland civil consultants before turning to the civil construction industry as both a construction surveyor or project supervisor. These projects ranged from housing subdivisions to rail, roading and large scale siteworks projects.

This experience makes Alex a good link between design, surveying, and construction. Alex is currently employed in Latham Construction as our Civil Manager
